NEW YORK, NY, May 7th, 2016 — MobileGuard, Inc., a pioneer in mobile archiving and compliance, has expanded its coverage with two Tier 1 carriers in the United States. MobileGuard is pleased to announce it has surpassed 100,000 devices archiving text messages across our wireless carrier integrations. Our network-based solution, NetGuard uniquely enables text message archiving on iPhones, Android, Blackberry and Windows devices without the need for any app or virtual number on those devices.
“Historically, text message archiving required software installed on each device,” said Todd M, Cohan, Founder and CEO of MobileGuard. “However, the demand for Apple iPhones in the enterprise market, coupled with an API not being publicly available, makes it impossible for an application to be installed. The only option for MobileGuard was to partner with the operators around the world and capture the messages through the network while in transit.
NetGuard integrates at the wireless carrier tier, allowing enterprises to deploy iPhones, among all other devices capable of sending and receiving text messages. Once devices are provisioned, each user leverages the native text messaging apps on those devices and the SMS and MMS messages are archived. There is no application on the device for the user to intercept or delete.
The solution is a comprehensive mobile compliance solution for enterprises that provides unified, device independent, real-time monitoring, alerts, capture, archival and analysis for any mobile device.
- Capture SMS and MMS messages on all mobile devices including the Apple iPhone
- No application install is required
- Easy one-click provisioning
- Cloud-hosting options meeting strict security requirements for government, (Open Records Laws), and financial services (FINRA).
- On premise deployment options available with corporate network integrations
In addition, Mobile Guard integrates with major mobile device management (MDM) solutions, including AirWatch and MobileIron making provisioning efficient in large deployments. NetGuard also enjoys integrations with corporate archiving solutions – allowing MobileGuard to distribute the text message archives to destinations where email, social media and other messaging data is reviewed.
“We work with varying enterprises across several industries such as financial services and government. NetGuard is flexibly designed to accommodate and satisfy the demanding regulatory requirements for electronic communications in this mobile age,” noted MobileGuard CEO Cohan.
MobileGuard offers NetGuard for AT&T and Verizon Wireless devices and is adding several international carriers during 2016, expanding global coverage for customers with employees around the world.
